Panner Muttor - Tawa Fry

Paneer is my favorite and green peas my daughter's hence this is a sure shot recipe for chapathi. Its got the right blend of spices to give the tinge to your taste buds.

Ingredients:

1) Paneer - 150 gms cut into cubes
2) Green Peas - 1 cup boiled 
3) Onion - 2 thinly sliced
4) Tomato - 2 roughly cut and then pureed
5) Ajwain - 1tsp
6) Ginger Garlic paste - 1 heaped tsp
7) Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
8) Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp (Increase as per your taste)
9) Pav Bhaji masala - 1 tsp
10) Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
11) Oil
12) Salt as per taste
13) Cream - 1 heaped tsp (Optional)

Method:

Take a non-stick kadai and a tsp of oil. Now fry the paneer in it to remove the rawness and till it starts slightly browning. Remove in a plate. Now add another tsp of oil. Add ajwain and fry; now add the ginger galic paste fry; now the onion and fry till it gets golden brown. Next add the tomato puree and stir till raw smell goes. Now start adding the dry masalas - turmeric powder, chilli powder, Coriander powder and Pav bhaji masala and fry till it becomes a pasty mass. Add the green peas with the water in it which was used for boiling. Add more water to blend the masalas and make it a good paste. Add salt as per your taste. Finally add the paneer and stir till paneer is coated with masala. Finally add the cream give a quick whirl and its ready.

This recipe serves 4 and can be had with chapathi/roti.
