Baby potatoes curry



  1. Baby Potatoes – about 250gms
  2. Cooking oil – 1tsp
  3. Ginger garlic paste – 1tbsp
  4. Onions – 2big finely chopped
  5. Tomatoes – 3 big chopped
  6. Turmeric powder – ½tsp
  7. Chili powder – 1tsp
  8. Coriander powder – 1tsp
  9. Jeera powder – ½tsp
  10. Salt
  11. Garam masala – ¼tsp
  12. Water – 1cup
  13. Fresh cream – 1tbsp
  14. Coriander leaves – finely chopped


Boil and peel the potatoes and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan, fry ginger garlic paste for half a minute and add finely chopped onions and saute. When they are fried well add chopped tomatoes and saute. Once the tomatoes are cooked and forms a paste add ingredients 6 to 10 and cook for a minute (chili powder and salt to be adjusted as per taste). Add water and potatoes and mix well, when water starts to boil and form thick gravy add garam masala and let it simmer for a minute, mix in fresh cream and switch off gas. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
