Chocolate Cake(Eggless) with Chocolate Ganache Frosting

On Diwali now equipped with my new OTG I definitely wanted to bake something. So the best option was to make cup cakes which kiddo has been craving for since a long time. This along with my tried and tested ganache recipe I tried decoration with my amateur skills.


Ingredients for the Cake:

1) Maida - 2 1/4 Cup
2) Powdered Sugar - 1 1/2 Cup
3) Cocoa Pwdr - 3/4 Cup
4) Baking Soda  - 1 Tsp
5) Baking Powder - 1/2 Tsp
6) Salt - 1/2 Tsp
7) Milk - 1 Cup
8) Water - 1 Cup
9) Veg Oil - 1/2 Cup
10) Vinegar - 2 tbsp
11) Vanilla - 1tsp

Ingredients for Ganache
1) Cooking Chocolate - 250 Gms
2) Fresh Cream (I used Amul) - 250 Ml

You can reduce the quantity of Ganache depending on the frosting you intend to do.

Method:

Ganache:
Heat the cream and once it starts bubbling take off the stove and add the chocolate pieces and mix it completely. Let this cool completely and after you keep this for cooling you can start making the cake.

Cake: 
Preheat oven to 180 degree C. 2 7 inch pan or what i did was 1 round pan and rest into 6 cupcake moulds
Whisk Together dry ingredients
Add Wet ingredients and mix well.  Line your pans with baking paper and pour into pans immediately and Bake.
Bake for 25 - 35 mins depending on your oven and take out.

Let the cake cool for 5 mins and invert into a plate.

After the cool reaches room temperature you can start frosting and decorating as per your choice. I used the Ganache and Vermicelli sprinklers.
